History

MAIMT was founded in 1997, the golden jubilee year of Indian independence, as a result of vision of Maharaja Agrasen Sabha. MAIMT is affiliated with Kurukshetra University and approved by AICTE & GOI. It stands today as one of the premier Management & IT institute of the state and enjoys the status of being among the top rated B Schools of India. The Institute is situated in Jagadhri, District Yamunanagar. The twin cities of Yamunanagar - Jagadhri are situated on the bank of holy river Yamuna and are reputed for metal and ply board industry. More than 500 small and medium undertakings along with big industries of international repute like BILT, ISGEC and Yamuna Gases etc. are operational here.
